There are many windows that house a naked mannequin.  It is illegal in some countries and disturbing to those who are offended by nudity in any form.

Taken apart limb by limb they suffer the ignominy of being abandoned in pieces until their new clothes are ready.  Often left for days for passers by to peek at their distress.
